Fomo vs Axiom Fees (2026): Where Code DEAL Leaves You Paying Less

This page puts Fomo’s trading fees next to Axiom’s on three trade sizes, with Fomo referral code DEAL applied through the invite link fomo.family/r/deal. In short: on regular spot trades, Fomo with DEAL costs less. On tiny Solana trades and on perps, Axiom’s own fee can be lower.

How is each fee built?

Fomo charges 0.50% per spot trade. Any referral code cuts that to 0.45%. Code DEAL then adds fee cashback: 12.5% of the Fomo fees you pay comes back in USDC, paid by the DEAL code owner. That makes 0.39375% net per trade. Fomo itself pays no cashback. On Solana, Fomo also covers gas, priority fees and token rent. (Trading fees on Fomo)

Axiom charges 1% per trade. Volume cashback lowers the net rate to 0.95% at the entry tier and as low as 0.75% for the most active traders. On Solana you also pay a priority fee and a “bribe” that you set yourself. (Axiom fees, Axiom Solana fees)

What does each trade size cost?

Spot trade Fomo, no code (0.50%) Fomo, any code (0.45%) Fomo with DEAL, net (0.39375%) Axiom (1%) Axiom entry tier, net (0.95%) Axiom, most active, net (0.75%)
$1,000 $5.00 $4.50 $3.94 $10.00 $9.50 $7.50
$10,000 $50.00 $45.00 $39.37 $100.00 $95.00 $75.00
$100,000 $500.00 $450.00 $393.75 $1,000.00 $950.00 $750.00

Platform fees only. Not included: Axiom’s priority fee and bribe, and Fomo’s network fees on networks other than Solana. A buy and a later sell are two trades, so a round trip doubles each figure.

How big is the gap?

Take $10,000 of trading. With DEAL, Fomo’s net fee is $39.37. That is $55.63 less than Axiom’s entry tier and $35.63 less than its lowest rate. At $100,000, the gap is $556.25 against the entry tier and $356.25 against the lowest rate.

DEAL also beats Fomo’s own standard rate. Against no code, it saves $10.63 per $10,000, about 21% of the fee.

Where can Fomo cost more?

On small Solana trades. Fomo’s lowest-fee Solana route uses minimums:

Solana trade on Fomo Fomo fee
Under 5 USDC 0.10 USDC
5 to 47.50 USDC 2%
47.50 to 190 USDC 0.95 USDC
190 USDC and up 0.50%

So a 20 USDC trade costs 0.40 USDC on Fomo. That is 2%, double Axiom’s 1% before its priority fee. Other Solana routes on Fomo charge 0.50% with a 0.95 USDC minimum, and the route can change from trade to trade. Fomo doesn’t say how the 10% referral discount applies to these minimums.

How do perps fees compare?

Here Axiom’s own fee is lower. Axiom charges 0.01% on its Hyperliquid perps, with up to 50x leverage. Fomo charges 0.05% at open and at close, plus Hyperliquid’s fee on the full leveraged position and hourly funding. Fomo’s leverage tops out at 40x on BTC. Fomo doesn’t say whether its 0.05% applies to the margin or the full position, or whether the referral discount covers perps. DEAL cashback does include Fomo’s perps fee, but not Hyperliquid’s. Fomo’s perps are not open to U.S. persons. (Fomo perps trading fees, Axiom perps)

Do referral codes work on both?

Yes, both offer 10% off. Axiom’s docs don’t say how its referral discount combines with volume cashback, so the table leaves it out. (Axiom referral program)

On Fomo, every referral code gives the same 10%. DEAL gives 10% Off + Fee Cashback: the 10% comes from Fomo, the cashback from the DEAL code owner. It covers spot and perps fees on every Fomo network, Arc included. It is paid monthly whatever the amount, and weekly at the weekend once the unpaid balance reaches 50 USDC. Terms: DEAL cashback terms. A code only works at sign-up, so open fomo.family/r/deal before you create the account.
